Did you know that more than 3.5 million Americans trace their roots back to an Arab country? Of this group, more than two thirds live in just ten states. It just so happens that these states are where many of our offices are located, too!

In honor of Arab American Heritage Month this April, we recognize and celebrate Arab American culture and the people who have contributed to our history. We encourage you to learn more about our colleagues, customers and neighbors.

Check out the virtual events and programs at the Arab American National Museum, Alif Institute and the Arab America Foundation to view galleries, experience cooking series, watch film screenings and more!

You can also learn about influential Arab Americans and their accomplishments. Like U.S. Air Force Colonel James Jabara who is America’s first jet ace, or Mothers Against Drunk Driving Founder Candy Lightner, and Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Doug Flutie. Read about other famous Arab Americans at Share America and Arab American Stories.

How do you plan to celebrate Arab American History Month? Please comment or share other historical or cultural experiences that others can explore this month and beyond.
