During a Louisville Bats game in June, surrounded by the PulteGroup family and local trade partners, the Louisville team announced that James Faddis is the newest recipient of a mortgage-free home through the Built to Honor program. The Centex home will be delivered in Fall 2017.
Faddis is part of a family with a strong military background – a father who served in the Army for 10 years, a mother who worked for the Central Intelligence Agency, and a grandfather who served in WWII. He joined the U.S. Marine Corp in January 2008 and was deployed to Afghanistan twice with the 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment where he received a gunshot wound to his right femoral artery while conducting combat patrol in March 2011. He has received the following awards, Combat Action Ribbon, Purple Heart, Good Conduct, and Afghan Campaign.
